I have finished the blocks. I have sewn all of them to together and I need to decide if I want a border. I also need my camera to come home from the high school or a 16 year old will be very sorry. I have had mixed reactions to the top. H and K do not like it. K describes it as washed out and H said "It's okay, but it's not your best work. You usually have more color and nicer blocks." A likes it. It is different from what I usually make. I do use more color in my quilts and I'm a Bali batik junkie. I am a fall color quilter too. I love fall and when it's starts cooling down I get in a sewing mood that lasts months and burns out at Christmas.
Anyway, I took some photos yesterday and the day before before everything was sewn together. I'll welcome advise even harsh criticism as this was an experiment. Hopefully, when H comes home from school, I'll have my camera by 4:00.It doesn't really glow like this. I had it on H's bed and her room is just too green. I don't know how the child sleeps in there.

I think it's very pretty!
I think it looks good. the quilt, not the bedroom on Krypton. Whats that about. geez. the quilt reminds me of my apron that I won. that i still haven't posted. oh boy.
The quilt looks beautiful! Do you sell them or keep them?
I am thinking I'll send this to the ex's mother. She is going thru chemo and Hannah says she just can't get warm. The girls are going there this weekend with the ex so I'll either have to machine quilt or tie it. The woman actually hates me. Well, she hates anyone married to her son and often refered to me as deceased but hey I don't hold a grudge -much. She was a very scary mother in law. Man, I just realized I have enough material with her that I will never have writer's block on my blog! Yay!!!!! But seriously, cancer is awful and I wouldn't wish it on anyone ever.
Wow you have done a lot of sewing.
Great job and you chose beautiful colors. Have fun with the quilting!
You have so much patience! Green is one of my favourite colours, so I can understand why your daughter would love that quilt.
Very pretty with subtle colours. Maybe not the choice of your family, but hopefully the ex-MIL will love it :)
