ESCAPE!

That is my intention this afternoon. I am getting off of this ridge. I am giving the sunshine a chance to melt some of the ice but I am ready to leave NOW. Al says I could have left any time if I had just sledded down. Even used the boys as sled dogs! Al is insane. Why else would he have married me?

Since my surgery 3 years ago I have done my utmost not to fall. This is a proactive thing since I am one of the clumsiest people alive. I was told one fall could undo everything I had done and believe me I am not going to go under the knife again. The most I've done is walk around and take photos this week as we didn't even have mail service. I did walk to the mailbox just in case but the mailman is an outsourced guy who is obviously not stupid enough to drive up here.

Forecast is calling for more snow! How about an early Spring? Daffodils and violets? We have used all the violet jelly, strawberry jam, strawberry rhubarb conserve, and the apple butter. I need to put more up next year.

Time to go...Yeah! Another photo of Kate by Hannah.

Hi Dear! I bound that journal by sewing right straight down the middle of it once I staggered the pages, bags, envelopes and so on. It was so easy to do and cost nothing since I used stuff I found around the house. Bonus! Give it a try, you can do it!!!

Cathy, I hope you are recovering good after the surgery. Did the escaping help? I enjoy reading your posts. Just may be you will have an early spring with daffodils and tulips. Take care, Millie

Thank you Millie. You are very sweet. My surgery was three years ago this month to remove my bladder. I had cancer and they formed a neobladder for me from a piece of colon. It's just kinda attatched to my inside lower abdomen. Works most of the time like a real bladder, Thanks to Cleveland Clinic. Unfortunatly, I'm 4 hours from there and mds here do not know how to care for it. I have a new urologist to see this month locally and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll know how to care for me so I won't worry so much about getting a fall or doing anything to hurt myself.
