Beautiful Friday

The sun is shining. The temp is up. I feel... not so good. I'm used to having more bad than good days so what the heck I persevered and made the kids cupcakes. 'Cause it's Friday and it's been a weird week with bad weather and odd school hours And it made me feel better to make them. Tomorrow is my Saturday morning Brit Com morning and I'm looking forward to it and to the thaw we are supposed to have over the weekend! Yay!

I'm still working on my zigzag quilt and I really like it. I'm also reading a new book. It's Young Adult fiction but I generally read an author before I suggest the author to the girls. The book is Terrier by Tamora Pierce. I like it. I love fantasy and it's written in diary form and I really like books written in diary form. It will be something Kate will like after she finishes Romeo and Juliet. She loves Shakespeare.

My Hannah is reformed. We are on a better 'plane' of understanding. Yeah.. It's the nice way of putting it. Becca on the other hand has not owned up to her lie or apologized. She obviously enjoys being grounded or our restrictions are not enough to make her think better of fessing up. Well, we will see about that...

I'm off to gather the hoards from schools..
