Mission Work

I need to go to work. There are four sick now. Al went to work but he's already decided he will stay home tomorrow. Hannah insisted she go to school against doctor's orders. I let her. She has too much going on to miss but she feels the worst of us. She's taken the antibiotics so I think she's not contagious. So that leaves me and Kate. Katherine is sick at her mother's and I'm hoping the triplets are still healthy. What is this crap? Our doctor said strep was going around but it's not that. It's just awful.
Work. I have two magazines that need mailed today. So there's about 300 tapes to dub. Gosh, I can't wait for digital at our work but we are following a timeline with the Library of Congress and I'm patient. I have two periodicals to read in between coughing fits. That's going to be fun. I'm going to spray everything I have to mail out today with Lysol and pray not to spread this stuff all over the world - that's right World. Mailings are to several continents. Enough said. I'm out the door.

Oh, take care of yourself. Maybe the sickness has about run its course.

I hope you and the whole family will feel better soon. It is not fun to be sick and to have the kids sick too. Thinking of you!

There's been something the media has dubbed a supercold that has been going around for a couple of years. Generally it doesn't have a lot of fever, but amazing amounts of congestion and coughing. If it's that I hate to tell you that the cough hangs on for a couple of months. We had it two years ago on holiday and I fear that we spread it all over Washington State.

That sounds like what we have. Oh joy! I couldn't do any recording at work yesterday because of the cough. Thanks for the info!
