I love Snow Days! I love it when all and I do mean ALL of the kids are home. I love letting them sleep late. It's a decadent feeling for them on a school day. I love having time to make a big breakfast or lunch depending on when they awake. I love hearing them play in the snow and coming in laughing and shivering with red cheeks.
To update yesterday's drama, K's vice principal is a very unhappy person and should not be in a position of authority over preteens. I ended up speaking to a wonderful man at the school board and hopefully something will be worked out with both parties. Gosh, I miss homeschooling. I know K missed her friends but life was a lot easier and we were rarely sick in this house. Makes me sad. I really do miss it but I understand a child's need to be social at this age and we did not have it to the degree they wanted it. It was fun while it lasted and they are definitely better for it.
