I'm taking a class from Kara over on http://oldladyinateenager.blogspot.com/. I'm a day behind already and it started yesterday. This is just the cover work. It has a gessoed spine, papered front and back, and an antique doily sewn on that unbuttons in the front for access inside. I love this idea but I really hate sewing thru paper. So far so good. I used a doily that was stained and knew I'd never actually use it out on anything. It's a piece of art now and I'm pretty proud of it.
