A New Member

It's been hard since Tiger Lilly passed away. She had rubbed my legs and talked to me nearly every morning for 12 years. She was a big, fat lap cat with eyes worthy of oriental watercolors. It's just hard to even discuss for all of us. I'm tearing up trying to write this and I see I'll have to try again later. Here is a photo of her cuddling Coconut with Baby Girl close behind. Tiger was Coconut's mother and they loved each other deeply.

We gave in and went to the local shelter Saturday morning. We told ourselves it was all for Hannah but later admitted it was a trip for all of us. We had a hard time making a choice but Hannah didn't. She held her new kitten (the first one she touched) and that was that. She hasn't a name yet because Hannah says it has to be perfect. She's right. This new feline is following in Tiger Lilly's paw prints.
